Below is a list of the 2024 Board of Directors Nominees:

J. Michael Davis (Incumbent)

Mike has been able to combine his business acumen and passion for advancing the credit union cause as an active Board Member of PA Central since 1999. He parlayed his degree from Gettysburg College in Business Administration into a successful career in business management that spanned over 30 years. He brings an understanding of the dynamics involved with thriving within a competitive environment, whether in private business or in the operations of PA Central, and has been able to transfer this understanding into practical input during his tenure on the Board of Directors. Mike has always approached his role with PA Central as one of service, and looks forward to continuing to serve the institution and its members.

William R. Brightbill (Incumbent)

Bill is born and bred in Harrisburg, setting the foundation for his understanding of, and passion for, all things Central Pennsylvania. Bill is cognizant of the fact that the success of the community translates into the success of the credit union serving that community, and has first-hand experience in both areas. He has served on the PA Central Board of Directors for over 20 years, and has been Chairman of the Board since March, 2016. As a former business owner, Bill has not only shared his expertise in contributing to the successful expansion of PA Central’s products and services, but has also taken great satisfaction as he sees how these improvements have benefitted his Central PA community. He would like to continue to apply the experience he has gained serving on the board, as well as his background in sales and business ownership, toward the continued growth of the Credit Union.

Mitch R. Lamoureux (Incumbent)

Mitch Lamoureux is a familiar name and face in Central Pennsylvania, having played all or parts of 8 seasons for the Hershey Bears, as well as stints with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers in the NHL.  The AHL Hall of fame inductee’s number 16 is retired by the Bears and now hangs from the rafters in Hershey’s Giant Center. Post retirement, Mitch and his wife, Renee settled in Palmyra. He was subsequently able to parlay his playing and management success in hockey to a successful career outside of the sport as a finance manager for a local auto dealership.

Mitch’s experience on both the dealer side and, since 2008, the financial institution side has given him a unique perspective, allowing him to develop the cornerstone of PA Central’s lending program.  He is currently Vice President of Lending. Mitch considers his election to the Board of Directors to be another opportunity to serve PA Central’s members and his adopted community.

Notice of Petition

The election for Board of Directors will not be conducted by ballot and there will be no nominations from the floor when the number of nominees is sufficient for the number of positions to be filled. Nominations for vacancies may also be made by petition signed by 1% of the members. Each nominee by petition must submit a statement of qualifications and biographical data with the petition, accompanied by a signed certificate stating that he or she is agreeable to the nomination and will serve if elected to office. Deadline for petitions is March 13, 2024.
